BARRY'S EARLY WORK
Barry was very fortunate to work as a landscape architect for the firm of Morrow Worley, now Morrow Reardon Wilkinson Miller Landscape Architects, a firm which has designed countless award winning landscape projects. Baker Morrow is arguably the Father of Landscape Architecture in New Mexico. As a practicing landscape architect, university professor, and prolific author, Baker has dramatically influenced the entire field and practice of landscape architecture in New Mexico. Barry is proud to call Baker Morrow a friend and one of his most influential mentors.
Barry worked with Baker Morrow and his firm on a wide variety of projects including the design of many parks, school & community landscapes, private residences, and the New Mexico Registry of Historic Landscapes. Later, Barry and Baker worked closely together on an early master plan for the Rio Grande Valley Botanical Garden, which was Barry's first independent design commission. |
During his years as an architectural intern in New Mexico and Colorado, Barry worked with several outstanding architectural designs firms.
Projects included a broad spectrum of project types ranging from residential projects to large high rise structures such as the Tabor Center in Denver, CO (left).
